This means that they require extra security and safety measures in transportation to ensure that products are not damaged. In simple terms, they are items of excessive size that need the most extreme care and assistance throughout the journey.. Before we know the technical requirements to classify the cargo as ODC is be aware that the primary reason to define ODC is to protect road motorists. By identifying a shipment to be ODC in addition to imposing regulations on the transport of ODC the government's goal is to stop any dangerous methods and accidents. The question is whether the government took the right decisions and implemented proper regulations is a subject to be discussed in the future.
